In permaculture, we learn design by actually doing design. The purpose of the Design Challenges document in each of the sections is to give you practice doing design. Each challenge document has some small projects that you can work that will help you to develop design skills. Never forget that none of these challenges exists in isolation. Each is an aspect of the holistic design for your life that is the iPermie goal!

Design your involvement with invisible structures to support your iPermie goals.

1. After you have done a complete examination of your invisible structure involvement, do some design work on your future involvement with invisible structures. Which affiliations will you abandon? Which will you involve yourself more intensely? Which organizations need change and how do you participate in that change?
2. Pick one of the needs on your inventory of invisible structures that would help in your life and design it. What does it look like? How does it do its work? How are you involved with it? How does it get started?
